Why Skyward Tech Repair Was Created
Skyward Tech Repair began after founder Hunter Prater noticed a recurring problem: people regularly came to him for help with computers and electronics because they either did not know where to begin or could not visit a traditional repair shop during normal business hours.
Many customers work during the same hours most repair shops are open. Others may have transportation limitations, busy schedules, or devices that are inconvenient to move. Hunter saw an opportunity to provide a more accessible alternative through repair requests accepted around the clock, scheduled device pickup, clear communication, and return delivery.
Skyward Tech Repair was created to bring dependable electronics repair directly to the people who need it—without requiring them to rearrange their entire day around a storefront.
Our mission is to provide dependable electronics repair at a fair and reasonable price while making the process more convenient for customers throughout Muskegon County.

Hunter Prater founded Skyward Tech Repair after years of being the person friends, coworkers, and community members approached when they needed help understanding, troubleshooting, or repairing their electronics.
Originally from North Carolina, Hunter brings a strong commitment to service, personal responsibility, and customer care to the operation of Skyward Tech Repair. His faith and belief in the Lord pushes him to invest heavily in serving others and influences the way he approaches both business and customer relationships.
Hunter personally oversees customer communication, repair-request review, device intake, service coordination, quality control, and return delivery. As a locally operated business, Skyward Tech Repair provides customers with direct accountability and personal attention throughout the repair process.
His goal is simple: provide quality work at a fair price and create a repair experience that customers feel comfortable trusting.
